Wisconsin Will Host Nebraska Under The Camp Randall Lights

The University of Wisconsin football team will play its second straight night game and third of the season next week against Nebraska.

The Big Ten announced Monday that the Badgers and Cornhuskers will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 6, with the game set to be televised by the Big Ten Network.

UW (3-1, 1-0) defeated Iowa 28-17 at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City on Saturday night and defeated Western Kentucky 34-3 in primetime in Madison on Aug. 31. The Badgers are off this week.

Nebraska (0-3, 0-1) is off to its worst start since 1945 and, combined with last year’s losses, are in the midst of their longest losing streak since 1957. Coach Scott Frost is in his first season as Nebraska’s head coach after a successful tenure at UCF, which went 13-0 last season and beat Auburn in the Peach Bowl. The Huskers host Purdue this Saturday.

Wisconsin has won its last four games against the Cornhuskers, including last year’s 38-17 victory in Lincoln, Neb, and six of seven since the Huskers joined the Big Ten. UW has won nine of its last 10 home night games since 2009, which includes two wins over Nebraska.
