Wisconsin Scores Commitment From 2020 Offensive Lineman

MADISON, Wis. – Offensive Line U. added another big body to the pipeline.

Taking an official visit to Wisconsin over the weekend to watch the Badgers’ 41-24 victory over Nebraska, St. Charles (Ill.) East 2020 offensive lineman Dylan Barrett announced his commitment to the Badgers’ 2020 recruiting class Monday.

A 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect, Barrett chose UW over scholarships from the likes of Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Northwestern, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.

“Wisconsin also has a great tradition of developing offensive linemen and that was a big factor in my decision,” Barrett told Rivals.com. “Just an awesome feeling to commit to Wisconsin. The coaches were pumped when I told them my decision.”

He is the third player to commit to Wisconsin in the 2020 class and all are offensive linemen, joining Stoughton (Wis.) High’s Jack Nelson and Wales (Wis.) Kettle Moraine’s Trey Wedig. Barrett projects as either a guard or center at UW.
