Week 7 Bowl Projections: One Rosy Look For Wisconsin

For the last 16 seasons, the University of Wisconsin has experienced the joy and reward of a postseason bowl game. The last four seasons have been all that more rewarding.

UW has won four straight bowl games, beating Auburn (2015 Outback Bowl), USC (2015 Holiday Bowl), Western Michigan (2017 Cotton Bowl) and Miami (2017 Orange Bowl). That is tied for the longest current bowl winning streak in the country (with Georgia, Louisiana Tech and Utah).

Sitting at 4-1 entering this weekend’s road game at No.12 Michigan, the Badgers are two wins away from qualifying for another bowl game, extending their school record to 17 straight seasons.

After seven weeks of the College Football season, here are some projections for Wisconsin’s postseason bowl destination.

Key Fact: Wisconsin returns to San Diego for the second time in four seasons (UW beat USC in 2015) for a rematch of the 2012 Rose Bowl, a game in which the Ducks won, 45-38, when then-Badgers quarterback Russell Wilson simply ran out of time.
