Wisconsin's Loudermilk Out Against Michigan

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin will face its stiffest offensive test this weekend without its most seasoned defensive end.

Sophomore defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk has been ruled out with a left leg injury that he suffered in the third quarter of last weekend’s 41-24 victory over Nebraska.

Offseason knee surgery prevented Loudermilk from making his season debut until week two. Appearing in four games (three starts), Loudermilk has six tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass deflection.

UW will rely on three redshirt freshmen – Matt Henningsen, Kayden Lyles and Aaron Vopal – to pressure a Michigan offense that averages 199.8 yards rushing and 220.8 yards passing.

The Badgers also have cornerbacks Deron Harrell and Caesar Williams, as well as outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, listed as game-time decisions.

Kickoff from Ann Arbor is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
