Four Badgers Make NBA Rosters

A new NBA season will have four familiar names for University of Wisconsin basketball fans.

With last night officially kicking off the 2018-19 NBA season, the Badgers will have four of its alumni on opening-night rosters: Sam Dekker (Cleveland), Devin Harris (Dallas), Frank Kaminsky (New Orleans) and Jon Leuer (Detroit).

Of the 115 NCAA schools with a former player on an NBA roster, the Badgers are tied for 26th with the most players on NBA rosters. Kentucky has the most with 30 followed by Duke with 25. The ACC has the most active NBA players with 82, following by the Pac-12 (69), SEC (63), Big 12 (41) and Big Ten (30).

Here’s a closer look at the professional Badgers.
