Early Kickoff For Wisconsin's Road Game At Penn State

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin’s road game at Penn State this Saturday will kick off at 11 am. CT and be televised by ABC.

A game that was once thought to be a marquee November matchup between a pair of teams fighting for the College Football Playoffs has lost its luster in recent weeks.

The Badgers (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) had dropped two of three to fall out of the running and beat last-place Rutgers Saturday. Penn State won its first four games and was ranked as high as No.9 in the country before back-to-back fourth-quarter losses to Ohio State and Michigan State. The Nittany Lions (6-3, 3-3) were thoroughly demolished at Michigan, 42-7, Saturday to fall into a fourth-place tie in the Big Ten East.

Wisconsin has lost five of its last six against Penn State, including a 38-31 defeat in the last matchup in the 2016 Big Ten championship game. UW hasn’t visited State College since 2012, last winning at Beaver Stadium in 2003.
