Hornibrook Questionable, Sagapolu Out For Wisconsin-Penn State

MADISON, Wis – The University of Wisconsin’s weekly preliminary injury report offered no major surprises Monday.

Head coach Paul Chryst listed five players questionable, including quarterback Alex Hornibrook (head), who is in the concussion protocol for the second time in three weeks. The junior was slammed to the turf at the end of the first half Saturday, hitting his head on an eight-yard sack. Sophomore quarterback Jack Coan played the second half in his place.

Senior Olive Sagapolu was listed as out for the second straight week after sustaining a right arm injury in a loss at Northwestern Oct.27. True freshman Bryson Williams made his first collegiate start in Saturday’s 31-17 win over Rutgers, the 23rd first-time starter this season for Wisconsin.

While free safety Scott Nelson and cornerback Deron Harrell remain questionable with right leg injuries, strong safety D’Cota Dixon and defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk are no longer listed on the injury report. Both missed three games before suiting up last week, giving the defense a boost heading into Saturday’s tilt at No.21 Penn State.
