Wisconsin-Purdue Announced As Afternoon Kickoff

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin’s final road game of the season at Purdue will kick off at 2:30 p.m. at Ross-Ade Stadium and be televised on the Big Ten Network.

The Badgers (6-4, 4-3 Big Ten)  are 1-3 on the road this season but have beaten the Boilermakers (5-5, 4-3) 12 straight times, extending the longest win streak by either team in series history and the second-longest streak by UW against a Big Ten team all-time (14 straight vs. Minnesota, 2004-present)

Wisconsin knocked off Purdue, 17-9, last year at Camp Randall thanks to Jonathan Taylor and the Badgers’ defense. Taylor ran for 219 yards on 30 carries, including a 67-yard touchdown, and Wisconsin held Purdue to only 221 yards of total offense and zero touchdowns on four red zone trips.

Purdue has undergone a resurgence under second-year coach Jeff Brohm. The Boilers went 7-6 last season and won a bowl game (both firsts for the program since 2011) and have beaten three ranked teams this season – No.23 Boston College, No.2 Ohio State, No.16 Iowa – at home this season.
