David Edwards, Alex Hornibrook Questionable For Wisconsin At Purdue

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin’s issues offensively remain unsolved, and the Badgers might be searching for answers this week without its starting right tackle and quarterback

While quarterback Alex Hornibrook (head) remains questionable after suffering two concussions in three weeks, head coach Paul Chryst announced junior right tackle David Edwards is questionable for Saturday’s road game at Purdue with a left arm injury.

Edwards has been battling arm/shoulder problems on and off since taking a hit to the shoulder in August’s fall camp. Causing some nerve damage, Edwards was hampered by the injury through the first six games of the season.

Hornibrook suffered his first concussion sometime during Wisconsin’s home win over Illinois Oct.20 and his second at the end of the first half of UW’s home win over Rutgers Nov.3.

UW also lists No.2 tailback Taiwan Deal questionable with a right leg injury. The senior came up limping after a 37-yard run on the opening drive of the second half, setting up the Badgers’ final points of the game.

Here is this week’s full injury report
