Wisconsin Bowl Projections - Week 12

Wisconsin gained bowl eligibility for the 17th straight season when it earned its sixth victory of the season on Nov.3. That’s about the only thing that’s guaranteed at this point.

The Badgers continued their inconsistent season by dropping an ugly 22-10 game at No.21 Penn State Saturday. Wisconsin had a chance to put a marquee win in front of a bowl selection committee but continued its six-week patter of altering wins and losses.

UW is still an attractive program to a committee because of its strong traveling fan base, but how attractive remains in question with another tough road game this weekend at Purdue and its home finale against Minnesota.

UW has won four straight bowl games, beating Auburn (2015 Outback Bowl), USC (2015 Holiday Bowl), Western Michigan (2017 Cotton Bowl) and Miami (2017 Orange Bowl). That is tied for the longest current bowl winning streak in the country (with Georgia, Louisiana Tech and Utah).

After 11 weeks of the College Football season, here are some projections for Wisconsin’s postseason bowl destination.
