WATCH: Jake Ferguson's Touchdown Beats The Clock for Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. – Needing to make a play to salvage something from an ugly first half, Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook targeted his tallest receiver with one second left before halftime.

Jake Ferguson needed every inch of his body to not let him down.

The redshirt freshman hauled in a 7-yard touchdown pass, his first since Oct.20, on the final offensive play of the first half to get Wisconsin on the board, cutting Minnesota’s halftime lead to 17-7.

Entering the finale with 29 catches for 395 yards and three touchdowns, Ferguson caught five passes for 46 yards in the opening half.
